Basic Search Techniques There are 2 basic options available:

1) Type URL in Location box (under toolbar)

2) Select "Net Search" option from Toolbar and
then type subject required.

Evaluating Internet Information

Whilst the Internet can be a valuable source of information, consider the following points before using your selected site for research purposes.

1) Author's credibility - what are their qualifications? Are they experts in the subject?

2) Date of publication

3) Country of publication

4) Educational (edu) or Commercial (com) site

5) Bias

6) Bibliography of references provided
